Xiaomi ADB/Fastboot Tools

A maintained JavaFX front-end for ADB and Fastboot with current builds and explicit package-vetting safety signals.
1 min read

Xiaomi ADB/Fastboot Tools is a maintained JavaFX desktop front-end for adb and fastboot.

Main capabilities#

  • list, uninstall, disable and restore Android packages,
  • browse device storage,
  • change DPI and resolution,
  • inspect device properties,
  • flash partitions and reboot into ADB/Fastboot modes,
  • use adb / fastboot from PATH or download platform-tools when missing.

Safety: watch the Vetted column#

Modern Android and HyperOS devices report far more packages than the old upstream allowlist knew about. The app therefore shows all packages, while the Vetted column tells you whether a package exists in the curated list.

Warning

Vetted: no means the package is not present in the maintained curated list. It is not a verdict that the package is unsafe or that nobody has reviewed it elsewhere. Removing the wrong system package can still break core phone functionality, so research it before touching it.

Build#

Requires JDK 21 or newer:

The build produces host-specific self-contained JARs for Windows x64, Linux x64/arm64 and macOS x64/arm64.

Device setup#

Enable Developer Options and USB debugging, connect the phone, then approve the computer's ADB authorization prompt. Fastboot mode can be entered with the phone's hardware keys or from the app when an ADB connection is available.

Note

Most functions do not require root or an unlocked bootloader. Flashing/wiping operations are a different category and may require an unlocked bootloader.
